Trash Panda
Jacksonville, FL
Trash Panda, formed in 2015 by songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Patrick Taylor (AKA Lazuli Vane), began as a solo project and expanded to a trio. The band draws from diverse influences, including neopsychedelia, soul, indie rock, and pop, creating a unique post-genre sound. Their early releases, including the 2016 EP Off and the 2018 album The Starclimber, gained attention with standout tracks like "Aging Out of the 20th Century" and "Atlanta Girls." After a hiatus, they returned in 2022 with new members and the single “Things Will Never Change,” which landed on Spotify’s Indie Chillout and Modern Psychedelia playlists. In 2023, the album PANDAMONIUM! gained the attention of booking agency Atlas Touring, leading to a year-long US headlining tour and performances at festivals such as Shaky Knees. Trash Panda was also among a select few artists chosen to perform at the Atlanta Braves “Spencer Strider Vinyl Record Giveaway” night. The first 5,000 fans in attendance received a 7” vinyl record of their single, “Honey Eyes,” which was featured alongside two other Atlanta-area bands handpicked by Braves' righthander Spencer Strider. “Honey Eyes” is part of the 2nd of three giveaway albums. With new music on the horizon for 2025, Trash Panda continues to captivate audiences with dynamic performances, genre-defying artistry, and unforgettable live experiences, solidifying their place in the indie music scene.
